Documentary & movement first

I don’t do much stiff or static. I look for the genuine, unposed interactions, candid laugher, and motion that makes a gallery come to life!

Observant, intuitive, & low-profile

As a second shooter, I know when to step in and fluff a dress, when to take a step back and grab a water for you or your clients on a hot day, and when to take initiative to capture additional details so you’re not rushed when the schedule is running behind.

As an associate, I take a combination approach - partly directed so your clients feel confident during posed photos, and partly documentary so they are able to stay in the moment during the main events of their day.

Detail-oriented

For me, being detail-oriented starts before the day even begins. I regularly show up 30+ minutes early to weddings so I’m fully prepped, synced, and ready to roll the second my clock starts. On-site, I am very adaptable. if you have a meticulous shot list you need me to conquer, I’m on it! If you prefer to let me loose, I’m completely comfortable reading the room and finding the magic on my own. My goal is to be the most reliable, low-maintenance asset on your team.

  • I officially launched my photography business in the spring of 2023, but my hands-on experience goes back over twelve years of shooting portraits. I’m incredibly comfortable running the show, having lead-shot 15 weddings both solo and with a team. However, my absolute favorite place to be is in the second shooter role, like I’ve done for six weddings so far (as of July 2026).

  • I shoot canon, including my camera bodies, and all my lenses!

  • I’m based in Northwest Indiana, regularly serving the Midwest, but always down to travel! Depending on the scope of work expected and terms of your contract, my second shooter rates typically run $60-85/hr and associate rates run $100-$125/hr.
